Open a royal petting zoo, breed baby animals and track the family tree.
Two cows. Two sheep. A pile of wheat. Will your zoo double every round, or is there a twist?

What you’ll build
Build a petting zoo with separate pens and gates, then lead in cows and sheep with wheat. Breed them in rounds and log every new baby. Draw the family tree as your herd grows and find out whether it really doubles each round.
Finish line: Your zoo is open, four breeding rounds are logged, and your family tree shows how the herd really grew.
Bonus challenge: Keep going until the first babies grow up. Predict the round when the zoo starts to boom, then check.
You’ll need
- Wheat
- Fences
- Fence gates
- A timer
- 2 cows and 2 sheep
You choose
- My zoo's name
- Star animals (cows, sheep or both)
- My bet: animals after 4 rounds
Stuck?
- Animals follow you only while you hold wheat, so keep it in your hand as you lead them.
- Adults need about 5 minutes before they'll breed again, and babies can't breed until they grow up.
- Feed two adults of the same type close together so they find each other.
