Build a pumpkin or melon farm that's also a maze for brave visitors.
A pumpkin farm by day. A maze nobody can escape by night. Build both in one patch and dare your family in.

What you’ll build
Design a maze that's also a pumpkin or melon farm, leaving the right spaces for fruit to grow. Build paths that keep the way clear, keep every stem near water and light it up. Wait for the harvest, then dare a family member to escape to the centre.
Finish line: Your farm-maze is growing fruit, and you've timed a family member's escape to the centre prize.
Bonus challenge: Maze 2.0: redesign it to fit more stems in the same patch without closing any paths. What's the new stem share?
You’ll need
- Pumpkin or melon seeds
- A hoe
- A water bucket
- Bone meal
- Gravel or planks for paths

- My maze's name
- Pumpkins, melons or both
- The prize at the centre
Stuck?
- A stem needs an empty dirt, grass or farmland block beside it to grow fruit.
- Bone meal grows the stem but not the fruit, so you'll still need to wait a bit.
- Keep stems within 4 blocks of water so the farmland stays hydrated.
