Zombies keep eyeing your villagers. Time to build a giant iron bodyguard. But what will it really cost?

What you’ll build
Plan an iron golem bodyguard and write its full shopping list. Mine and smelt the iron, craft the blocks and carve a pumpkin, timing the whole job. Build the T shape, place the pumpkin last and meet your bodyguard.
Finish line: Your iron golem is guarding the village, and you know its full price tag.
Bonus challenge: Armourers and toolsmiths may buy iron ingots. How many emeralds could your 36 ingots have earned instead? Was the golem the better deal?
You’ll need
- Iron ore
- Coal for smelting
- A pumpkin
- Shears
- A pickaxe

- Iron plan: mine it, trade for it, or both?
Stuck?
- Place the carved pumpkin last, or the golem won't appear.
- Keep both bottom corners beside the base block empty, with nothing like grass or snow there.
- Use shears on a placed pumpkin to carve it, then mine it to pick it up.
