Light a 60 m festival street with the fewest lights and no dark spots.
Tonight is the Festival of Lights. The whole street must glow… but the lantern budget is tiny.

What you’ll build
Plan a long festival street and test three different light spacings at night, counting steps to the nearest light. Light the whole street with the winning spacing, plug any dark spots, then dress it with banners, stalls and a centrepiece for a night-time stroll.
Finish line: Your festival street glows with no dark spots, lit with the fewest lights your spacing tests allowed.
Bonus challenge: Swap in redstone lamps wired to a daylight sensor, tapped (or right-clicked) to invert it, so the festival switches itself on at night.

Stuck?
- Counting distance? Count along blocks, not diagonally, and remember that height counts too.
- Waiting for night? A full day–night cycle takes 20 minutes, so build your test stretches in daylight.
- Dark spot? Add a light right there, but use no more than two extra lights in total.
