Build a secret room and hide its entrance behind a waterfall.

What you’ll build
Every builder needs a hideout. You'll dig or build a small secret room, make a narrow doorway and pour water above it so a waterfall covers the entrance. Walk through to test it, fill the room with treasures, then challenge a family member to find it.
Finish line: Your secret room is easy to walk into, but from outside the entrance looks like a normal wall.
Bonus challenge: Hide a clue somewhere in your world that points to the secret base, like a sign or arrow made of flowers.
You’ll need
- Water bucket
- Building blocks
- Lanterns
- Chest
- A family member to search
You choose
- Where the base goes (hill, under a house…)
- A waterfall, or hanging vines as a curtain
- What's inside: bed, chests, a map wall…
Stuck?
- Water flooding into the room? Raise the room floor one block above the ground outside so the water can't flow in.
- Water not covering the doorway? Place it on the block directly above the opening so it falls straight down in front.
- No waterfall spot? Hanging vines in front of the doorway make a good curtain too.
