Race from 5 homes to a safe square, then rescue the slowest route.
ALARM! Everyone has 60 seconds to reach the safe square. Which home is too slow, and can you fix it?

What you’ll build
Choose a safe square and five homes, then compare each home's straight-line distance with its real street route. Race every route against the clock, find the slowest one and its villain, rescue it with a small fix, race again and add arrow signs at every junction.
Finish line: All five routes are raced, the slowest is rescued and re-raced, and signs point everyone to safety.
Bonus challenge: Find a spot for a second safe square so every home is under 30 seconds away. Use coordinates to prove it.

Stuck?
- No flying or sprinting in the races, so every time is fair.
- The street route is always longer than the straight line. A big gap shows where a fix could help most.
- Fix too big? Look for the one bridge or gap that cuts the biggest detour within 40 blocks.
