Mission 357 hasn’t hit the channel yet. Subscribe and you’ll see it the day it lands.
Write your crew's pirate code, argue for every rule and win the crew vote.
Every great crew has a code. Break it and you walk the plank. Write yours, then convince your crew to sign.
- New skill Writing in a Book and Quill
- Level 4 · Legends of the Deep
- Difficulty Intermediate
- Mode Survival
- Time 40–60 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Every great crew has a code. Build the captain's quarters, draft your rules and back each one with a strong reason. Copy the code into a book on a lectern, then read it to your crew, take a vote and sign it into law.
Finish line: Your pirate code is signed, sitting on the lectern, and your crew has voted it into law.
Bonus challenge: Add a Wall of Fame in your cabin: a sign for each crew member with their rank and one heroic (or ridiculous) deed.
You’ll need
- A book and quill
- A lectern
- A crew of 2 or more people
- A banner
You choose
- My crew's name
- My rule that's sure to start an argument
- The (harmless!) punishment for breaking the code
Stuck?
- Signing the book locks it forever, so draft your rules on paper first.
- No book and quill? Craft it from a book, an ink sac and a feather.
- Rule voted down? Rewrite it with a better reason and try again.
For grown-ups
