Build a hidden bunker under a dune that nobody can spot from above.
The explorer's note warns: “When the sand rises, hide below it.” Build a base so hidden it doesn't exist.

What you’ll build
Disappear into the desert by building a bunker inside a big dune. Dig out your rooms, roof them with sandstone and cover the top with sand so it looks untouched. Add a secret door and a spy window, move in, then test whether anyone can find it.
Finish line: Your bunker sits under a dune, invisible from above, with a secret entrance and a spy window.
Bonus challenge: Dig an emergency exit that pops up somewhere unexpected, like beside a dead bush. Time your escape from bed to open air.
You’ll need
- Lots of sandstone
- A shovel
- Torches
- A bed
- Tinted glass (optional)
- Someone to hunt for it

Stuck?
- Sand falls with nothing under it. Roof your rooms with sandstone before you pile sand on top.
- Tinted glass lets you see out but stops light leaking through, so your lit bunker stays hidden.
- Light every room inside. Dark corners let mobs spawn in your bunker.
