Build a tall striped lighthouse by the water with a light at the top.

What you’ll build
Build a tall lighthouse by the water. You'll lay a round-ish base, stack scaffolding as your climbing tower, and build the walls up in bold stripes. Add a glass room and a bright light at the top, enjoy the view, then knock out the scaffolding.
Finish line: Your lighthouse is at least 25 blocks tall, with stripes and a light at the top.
Bonus challenge: Wait for night, then ride a boat out on the water and look back at your lighthouse shining.
You’ll need
- Scaffolding
- Red and white blocks
- Glass
- Lights (lanterns, sea lanterns)
You choose
- Stripe colours
- How tall (aim for 25+ blocks)
- Light at the top (lanterns, sea lanterns, glowstone)
Stuck?
- Jump to climb scaffolding and use the sneak button to climb down.
- Break the bottom scaffolding block and the whole stack falls, which makes clean-up quick.
- Stripes uneven? Count the same number of blocks for each colour before switching.
