Build a secret lair behind a waterfall, with a bat roost and a bat count.
Behind a roaring waterfall hides a dark cave full of bats. The perfect secret lair… if nobody finds the door.

What you’ll build
Carve a secret lair into a cliff and hide its entrance behind a waterfall you can walk straight through. Light the lair brightly but leave a dark side room for bats, sealed behind glass. Count the bats on different days, work out how deep your secret is and see if anyone can find the door.
Finish line: Your lair hides behind a waterfall, with a bat roost behind glass and an average bat count.
Bonus challenge: Dig a secret escape tunnel from the lair that pops out somewhere surprising, like inside a hollow tree. How long is it?

Stuck?
- Place the water source at the top of the doorway so it flows down over the opening.
- Bats only appear in dark spots underground. If none come, dig the roost deeper and keep it dark.
- The dark roost can spawn monsters too. Keep it sealed off behind glass.
