Set your team's shriek rules and rehearse a decoy escape before the heist.

Shriekers are the city's alarm. Every shriek is a strike. Too many strikes and something huge climbs out.

  • New skill Using snowballs as a decoy
  • Level 5 · Mysteries & Monsters
  • Difficulty Intermediate
  • Mode Survival
  • Time 30–40 min
  • Ages 13+

What you’ll build

Before the heist, set your team's shriek rules: every shriek is a strike, and each strike means a set action. Then rehearse the escape trick at home: freeze, throw a snowball far away to draw the Warden off, and sneak out. Post the rules on a sign at the lookout so everyone reads them first.

Finish line: Your team's shriek rules are on a sign, and your freeze-throw-sneak escape is well practised.

Bonus challenge: Beat your escape drill record 3 times in a row. Then swap roles: you call the code word and your teammate has to escape.

You’ll need

  • Snowballs
  • Your spy map
  • A sign
  • A teammate (an experienced player)

You choose

  • My team's code word for RETREAT
  • Strikes before we retreat
  • Who carries the snowballs

Stuck?

  • Never fight the Warden. It's blind and follows vibrations, so a thrown snowball can lead it away.
  • Collect snowballs by digging snow with a shovel. They stack, so bring a full stack.
  • Rehearse until freeze, throw and sneak takes a few seconds. Panic is what gets agents caught.
