Build a copper and tuff command centre with bulbs, grates and a rust race.
The trial builders loved copper and tuff. Steal their style for a base that glows, turns green and clicks.

What you’ll build
Build a command centre from shiny copper and tuff bricks, with see-through grates, copper doors and glowing copper bulbs. Wire a button to a bulb to make a secret signal that stays on or off. Then start a rust race between waxed and bare copper, and give a family member the grand tour.
Finish line: Your copper and tuff command centre has a secret signal lamp, and the rust race has begun.
Bonus challenge: Build a code panel: 4 copper bulbs, 4 buttons. Set a secret on/off pattern and challenge someone to match it without seeing yours.

- My look: waxed shiny or aged green

Stuck?
- A copper bulb flips on or off each time it gets a new signal, so one button press is enough.
- Wax copper by using honeycomb on it. Waxed copper stays shiny; bare copper slowly turns green.
- Copper gone green by mistake? Use an axe on it to scrape it back one stage at a time.
