What you’ll build
Build a giant brain with four lamps and a control desk of number signs. A guest secretly flips a lever under every sign that shows their number, and you add up the lit lamps to read their mind. Then show off the whole Logic Lab.
Finish line: Your Brain Machine reads any number from 1 to 15, and you've mind-read the whole family.
Bonus challenge: Add a 16s sign and lever so the Brain reads up to 31. Which numbers go on the 16s sign? Then hook the lamps to your countdown display!

Stuck?
- Double-check every sign's number list: one wrong number breaks the trick.
- Signs need two lines to fit eight numbers, so plan the layout first.
- Add the labels of the lit lamps only: 8, 4, 2 and 1.
