Build a music box that plays a tune whenever its chest is opened.
Lift the lid of a secret chest and a hidden orchestra plays your song. Can anyone name that tune?

What you’ll build
Turn a trapped chest into the lid of a music box. Opening it powers a line of note blocks and repeaters that plays your own tune. Pick the pitch and instrument for every note, tune the rhythm and challenge your family to name that tune.
Finish line: Your music box plays your tune every time someone lifts the lid of its chest.
Bonus challenge: Build a second trapped chest that plays a different song, then a third: a three-song jukebox. Can a tester tell which chest is which?

Stuck?
- Use a trapped chest: an ordinary chest sends no signal when opened.
- Silent note? Every note block needs an empty block of air above it.
- Went past the note you wanted? Keep tapping: after the top pitch it loops back to the bottom.
