What you’ll build
Choose a small machine, draw a labelled diagram and write a step-by-step manual in a book. A tester then builds a copy from your manual alone, with no talking allowed. Compare the two, fix the weak steps and test again.
Finish line: Your manual is clear enough that someone built a working copy from it, and version 2 is even better.
Bonus challenge: Make a picture-only manual on paper with no words at all. Can a tester still build it?

Stuck?
- Direction matters for repeaters, pistons and observers, so add arrows to your diagram.
- Keep to one action per step, in the order you'd really build it.
