Raise a 50-block obelisk and carve a message in a picture code you invent.
A giant stone needle covered in strange symbols. Only you hold the key… until someone finds your clue stone.

What you’ll build
Invent your own picture code, then raise a towering stone obelisk with a pointed top. Carve a secret message up one face in your symbols, build a clue stone like the Rosetta Stone and challenge someone to crack your code against the clock.
Finish line: Your obelisk carries a coded message, your clue stone stands nearby and someone has tried to crack it against the clock.
Bonus challenge: Carve a second face where some symbols stand for whole words, not letters. Real hieroglyphs mixed both kinds! Does it slow the code-cracker down?

Stuck?
- Symbols blending in? Pick a block colour that stands out strongly against the obelisk.
- Running out of height? Use scaffolding or fly up, and plan where each symbol goes before you start.
- Codebreaker stuck? Make sure your clue stone includes symbols used in the main message.
