Build a five-rib iron arch bridge with room for a ship to sail below.
1779. Nobody has ever built a big bridge from iron. People say it'll crack. Prove them wrong over the river.

What you’ll build
Build an iron arch bridge nobody thought possible: one curving rib from bank to bank, then four more side by side. Lay the deck, add railings and lamp posts, check a tall ship fits underneath and open a toll house at one end.
Finish line: Your five-rib iron bridge spans the river with railings and lamps, and a tall ship sails right under it.
Bonus challenge: Build a stone arch bridge of the same span next to it. Count both. Which needs more blocks, and which one looks stronger to you?

You choose

- Span: 20, 25 or 30 blocks
- The ship that must fit under it
Stuck?
- Ribs not matching? Build the first rib carefully, then count blocks to copy it exactly.
- Ship won't fit under? Raise the high point of the arch and try again.
- Arch looking pointy? Make the steps shallower near the middle and steeper near the banks.
