What you’ll build
The iron age begins. You'll search caves and hillsides for iron ore, mine it with a stone pickaxe and smelt the raw iron in your furnace. Then turn your shiny new ingots into your first iron item, like shears or a bucket.
Finish line: You smelted at least three iron ingots and crafted something useful with them.
Bonus challenge: Start saving iron for a full set of armour later: that takes 24 ingots!

Stuck?
- Iron ore breaking but dropping nothing? You need a stone pickaxe or better.
- Look for stone with peachy-brown spots. Deeper down, iron ore looks darker.
- Out of coal? Planks, logs or charcoal also work as furnace fuel.
