What you’ll build
Build the opening cutscene for your adventure: a minecart ride past five dark story scenes. Detector rails flash each scene's lamps as the cart rolls by, and short captions tell the story. Can a rider retell it?
Finish line: Your minecart ride rolls past five story scenes that flash on cue, and a rider can retell the story.
Bonus challenge: (cheats on) stand by the track as the live director and type /title @a title at each scene, so giant words flash across the rider's screen.

- Powered rails
- Detector rails
- Redstone torches
- Redstone lamps

Stuck?
- Cart stopping? Powered rails without power act as brakes. Put a redstone torch beside each one.
- Lamps must sit right next to the detector rail to flash as the cart passes.
- Keep each caption short. Riders only get a second or two to read it.
