Build a labelled storage vault and sort everything you own into it.
Cobblestone in with carrots. Diamonds lost under dirt. Your chests are a disaster. Time for a proper vault.

What you’ll build
Design a vault with a wall of double chests and a sorting table, choose your own sorting system and label every chest. Then dump everything into one giant messy pile, sort it all against the clock and challenge a family member to name items for you to find.
Finish line: Your vault is sorted and labelled, with a best sorting time and a find-it test score.
Bonus challenge: Place a hopper under a 'dump' chest so items drop into a chest below it. It's the first step of an auto-sorter!
You’ll need
- Planks for chests
- Item frames or signs
- A timer
- A family member for the test
You choose
- My vault's name
- Sort by: type / colour /
- Secret chest hiding spot
Stuck?
- A chest won't open if there's a solid block on top of it. Keep the space above clear, or use barrels.
- Two chests side by side join into a double chest. Leave a gap if you want them separate.
- Not sure where something goes? Make one Misc chest instead of stopping the sort.
