Patrol every corner of your homestead and light it so nothing spawns.
Something keeps appearing INSIDE your walls at night. Somewhere in your homestead is a dark spot… find it.

What you’ll build
Shade the spots on your homestead map you think are darkest, then go on a night patrol to find where monsters are sneaking in. Light every dark spot with torches or lanterns, patrol again the next night and see if the count drops to zero.
Finish line: Your homestead has no dark spots left, and two patrol counts show the difference.
Bonus challenge: Find the spot inside your walls that's furthest from any light. Count the blocks and work out its light level. Is it safe?

Stuck?
- Check roofs, under trees and behind buildings. Dark spots hide where you don't usually walk.
- Torch light fades by one level with every block, so keep lights roughly 12 blocks apart or closer.
- A mob that wandered in from outside isn't a spawn. Check for gaps in the wall too.
