Build a battle bunker by a blaze spawner and win 8 blaze rods.
Flaming guardians spin around a cage of fire. Every rod they drop is a key to potions and the End.

What you’ll build
Build a cobblestone bunker near a blaze spawner, then pop out to fight the fiery guardians and duck back between fireball bursts. Try snowballs, arrows and a sword to see which works best, and keep going until you've won eight blaze rods.
Finish line: You've won eight blaze rods from your bunker and kept a score sheet of every blaze you fought.
Bonus challenge: Eyes of ender each need 1 blaze powder. If the End portal needs up to 12 eyes, how many rods is that? Are 8 rods enough for potions too?

Stuck?
- Blazes fire three fireballs in a row. Wait behind cover for the burst to finish, then strike.
- Snowballs hurt blazes, so they're great for picking them off from your bunker.
- Not every blaze drops a rod. Expect to beat a few more than eight.
