Mission 912 hasn’t hit the channel yet. Subscribe and you’ll see it the day it lands.
Build a detailed 1:5 model of your wonder and predict its real blocks.
Before you build it huge, build it tiny. A mini model shows every mistake before it costs 30,000 blocks.
- New skill Scaling a build up from a model
- Level 10 · Legends of Lilora
- Difficulty Advanced
- Mode Creative
- Time 40–50 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Build a detailed mini version of your wonder on a plinth beside the site, with every part in miniature. Count its blocks, scale it up to check it matches your full-size outline, and fix anything that looks off now, while it only costs a few blocks.
Finish line: Your pocket wonder sits on its plinth with a sign showing its name, scale and predicted block count.
Bonus challenge: Build one small part at full size (a window or a hand) and count it. Did it really need about 125 times the model's blocks?
You’ll need
- Building blocks
- Plinth blocks
- A sign
- A calculator
You choose
- My scale (1:4, 1:5 or 1:6)
- My model's plinth design
- My bet for the real wonder's block count
Stuck?
- Count the model layer by layer and write each total down. It's much faster than counting it all at once.
- Bigger in every direction means far more blocks than you'd think. Multiply, don't guess.
- Hollow parts use fewer blocks, so your real total may land below your prediction.
