- Mode Creative
- Time 45–60 min

What you’ll build
Design a puzzle room your family has to escape. You'll build a closed room with an iron door, hide the button that opens it in one chest, and write clues that lead the way. Add a decoy or two, test it yourself, then invite someone to escape.
Finish line: Someone escapes by solving your clues, and you can say how fair the puzzle was.
Bonus challenge: Add a second room with a harder puzzle, like a lever code or a pressure plate hidden in a dark corner.
You’ll need
- Iron door
- Buttons
- Signs
- Chests
- Item frames
- A family member to escape
You choose
- Theme (dog house, castle, lab)
- My 3 clues
- Where I'll hide the button
Stuck?
- Door not opening? The button must go on a block right next to the iron door.
- Agree on a no-breaking-blocks rule first. In Creative, anyone can break anything.
- Test it yourself before inviting anyone. If you can't solve it, neither can they!
