Bury treasure, log 5 landmarks and challenge someone to find your loot.
Bury a treasure chest somewhere wild. Then write a riddle so sneaky only a coordinate master can dig it up.

What you’ll build
Crack the coordinate code by walking east, south and up to see which number changes. Log five landmarks across your world, then sneak somewhere west or north of the centre and bury a treasure chest. Finish with a coordinate riddle and a timed treasure hunt.
Finish line: Your treasure is buried at a negative coordinate, five landmarks are logged, and your hunter has dug it up.
Bonus challenge: Bury a decoy chest full of dirt 10 blocks from the real one. Did your hunter fall for it? Bonus points for a cheeky note inside.

- A shovel

Stuck?
- Can't see your coordinates? Show Coordinates is a world setting you can switch on in the world's settings.
- To reach a negative X, head west; for a negative Z, head north.
- Make each clue point to something the hunter can actually find, like a landmark they can see.
