Fill a map, zoom it out again and again, and reveal the unknown.
Your map shows one tiny patch of land. Past its edge, the unknown begins. How far can you push it?

What you’ll build
Craft a map and a cartography table, then walk to fill in your first map. Find out where base camp really sits, then zoom copies of your map out and ride into the blank edges to fill them. Name any new land and compare all three maps side by side.
Finish line: You have three maps at three zoom levels, a newly named land, and your guess checked with real numbers.
Bonus challenge: Zoom a map all 4 times and fill it. Guess how many 1:1 maps would cover the same land, then work it out. (It's a LOT.).

Stuck?
- A map only fills in while you're holding it, so keep it in your hand as you explore.
- Base camp often isn't in the centre, because maps snap to a fixed grid. That's normal.
- No arrow showing where you are? Add a compass to the map at the cartography table.
