- Level 2 · Rise of the Kingdom
- Difficulty Beginner
- Mode Survival
- Time 30–45 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Design a two-key vault that opens only when both secret levers are on. Build a redstone AND gate with levers, torches and dust, then predict and test every lever combination. Fix anything that misbehaves and hide the wiring behind a wall.
Finish line: Your vault opens only when both levers are on, and you've tested all four combinations.
Bonus challenge: Three-key vault: add a third lever and torch. Write all 8 combos before you test, then dare someone to open it by luck.
You’ll need
- Redstone
- 2 levers
- Redstone torches
- An iron door
- Building blocks
You choose
- What the vault guards
- How you'll disguise the two levers
- Vault name over the door
Stuck?
- Redstone dust needs a solid block under it, so build on a flat floor.
- If the door opens with one lever, trace the signal block by block to find a torch that isn't turning off.
- Iron doors only open with redstone power, not by tapping.
