What you’ll build
Design your capital castle from above, then mark its corners in the world. Work out the floor area, the wall length and the number of blocks you'll need. Check your stores and decide whether to shrink the plan, swap blocks or go mining.
Finish line: Your castle plan has a staked-out site, a full budget and a decision on how to make it work.
Bonus challenge: Price a deluxe version with every side 2 blocks longer. How many extra blocks? Is the bigger castle worth the mining trip?

- Bright marker blocks
- Your storage
- A ruler
- A calculator

- Main block + two detail blocks
Stuck?
- Mark each corner with a bright block so you can see the whole outline.
- Subtract doorways from your wall count so you don't over-budget.
- Short on materials? A smaller castle is a smart decision, not a failure.
