Give the Wonder a stunning face with a mirror trick and a hidden twist.
Your giant has bones. Now give it a face so stunning that people stop in the street to stare.
- New skill Designing a facade with depth
- Level 3 · Dream City
- Difficulty Beginner
- Mode Creative
- Time 35–45 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Test two window shapes on a sample wall, then build one half of your Wonder's face and mirror it bay by bay. Add depth with frames, ledges and pillars, hide one deliberate twist for a family member to spot, and work out how much of the face is glass.
Finish line: Your Wonder has a mirrored, deep-set face with a hidden twist and its glass percentage worked out.
Bonus challenge: Light the face from below at night with hidden lights. Screenshot day and night side by side. Which one would go on a postcard?
You’ll need
- Your chosen palette
- Glass
- Stairs and slabs for depth
- A family member to spot the twist
You choose
- My palette
- Bay width ___ m, window shape
- My secret twist
Stuck?
- Face looks flat? Push parts 1–2 blocks in or out from the wall so they catch shadows.
- Halves not matching? Build bay by bay and count from the mirror line every time.
- Glass %: window area ÷ wall area × 100. Measure both in m².
For grown-ups
