The island's too small, and something groans on the shore every night. Time to move out… onto the open sea.

What you’ll build
Time to move out to sea. Draw your raft, work out how many logs it needs, then bridge out from your island and lay the floor. Break the bridge behind you, make the raft a home with rails, a roof and light, and survive a night afloat.
Finish line: Your raft floats free at sea, fully lit, and you made it to sunrise on board.
Bonus challenge: Build a second raft and link them with a plank walkway. Or cut a fishing hole in the middle of the deck for midnight snacks.
You’ll need
- Logs for planks
- Torches
- Fences for a rail
- A chest
You choose
- My raft's name
- Raft size: 5 × 5, 7 × 7 or 9 × 9
- Must-have on deck (lookout, fishing hole, bed spot)
Stuck?
- Raft sinking? Sand and gravel fall, but planks, logs and most solid blocks stay exactly where you place them, even over water.
- Mobs on deck? Monsters spawn in the dark, so light every corner of the raft before night falls.
- Short on planks? Each log makes 4, so always chop a few spare logs before you set out.
