Build a palm treehouse lookout with a water slide into the sea.
Every castaway needs a lookout high in a palm tree… and the fastest way down is a splash-slide into the sea.

What you’ll build
Every castaway needs a lookout high in a palm tree. Build a curved palm trunk with drooping fronds and a deck at the top, then run a water slide all the way down to the sea. Fix the flow, ride it and time your splash.
Finish line: Your palm-tree lookout stands tall and its water slide carries you all the way into the sea.
Bonus challenge: Build a second, steeper slide and race both. Run each one 3 times. Which is faster on average?
You’ll need
- A water bucket
- Wood and leaf blocks
- Blocks for the slide channel
- A timer
You choose
- My treehouse's name
- Palm style: curved trunk or straight
- Slide route: straight, zigzag or spiral
Stuck?
- Water stopping halfway? On flat ground it only flows about 7 blocks, so add a 1-block drop before it runs out.
- Hurt on landing? Make sure the slide ends in water at least 2 blocks deep.
- Water leaking out the sides? Close every gap in the channel walls.
