Build a house where the left side is an exact mirror of the right side.

What you’ll build
Can you build a perfect mirror? You'll lay a gold centre line, build the left side of a house by counting out from it, then copy everything exactly on the right. Mirror the roof and windows too, remove the gold line, and check the front.
Finish line: The front of your house looks the same on both sides of the centre line.
Bonus challenge: Ask a family member to look closely for any difference between the two sides. Can they find one?

- Building blocks in two colours
- Gold blocks for the centre line
You choose
- House style and colours
- What sits on the centre line (door, chimney, window)
- One detail to mirror on both sides
Stuck?
- Lost count? Always count from the gold centre line outwards, never from the far edge.
- Pick an odd width so the door or window can sit exactly in the middle.
- Check from straight in front, not at an angle. Small mistakes are easier to spot head-on.
