Spy on a pillager outpost from far away and plan your island's defences.
Smoke on the horizon. A dark tower full of pillagers. Don't go near it. Watch, plan and get ready.

What you’ll build
Smoke on the horizon and a dark tower full of pillagers. Scout the outpost by boat from a safe distance, work out how far away you are and tally what you see. Then sail home, score your island's weak spots and build your top defences.
Finish line: You've spied on the outpost safely and your island has three new defences.
Bonus challenge: Build a hidden lookout on your island's highest point with a bell, a spyglass chest and a sign: 'What to do if raiders come'.

Stuck?
- Getting shot at? You're too close. Pillagers fire crossbows, so stay well back with water between you.
- Never attack a pillager with a banner on its head: it can start a raid.
- No spyglass? Just stop farther out and watch carefully; it's a spy mission, not a raid.
