What you’ll build
A tiny glowing portal hangs in the sky near the island's edge. Find the End gateway, get inside it and whoosh out to the outer islands. Log your landing, work out how far you've travelled and build a tower by the return gateway.
Finish line: You've reached the outer islands and marked the return gateway with a tower.
Bonus challenge: Find a chorus tree, pick a chorus fruit and eat it. It teleports you somewhere nearby! Where did you land, and how far was it?
You’ll need
- A parent or experienced player
- Ender pearls
- Plenty of blocks
- A water bucket

Stuck?
- Can't get in? Throw an ender pearl straight into the glowing gateway.
- Lost the way back? Build a tall tower beside the return gateway as soon as you land.
- There's void between all the outer islands, so sneak at every edge.
