What you’ll build
Build a moody interview room beside HQ with a table, chairs and a single lantern. Your Mystery Maker plays all five suspects while you ask each the same questions and write their answers in a case book. Only the thief tells a lie, so hunt for statements that can't both be true.
Finish line: Your case book holds every suspect's statement, with each clash underlined.
Bonus challenge: Ask one suspect a trick question whose answer only the thief could know. Did anyone slip up?

Stuck?
- A book and quill needs a book, an ink sac (from squid) and a feather. Keep it unsigned so you can keep writing.
- Ask every suspect exactly the same questions, so their answers are easy to compare.
- Can't find the lie? Lay two answers side by side and ask: could both be true at the same time?
