What you’ll build
Build a three-reel slot machine where one button fires three droppers at once. Lock the reels with powered hoppers while you read them, then spin again and again, tallying jackpots, pairs and misses to see how rare a jackpot really is.
Finish line: Your slot machine spins, your tally shows how rare a jackpot is, and a pay table hangs on the front.
Bonus challenge: Give the machine flashing lights: a lamp line that flickers when you spin. Then add a 4th reel. How rare is a jackpot now?

Stuck?
- Reels emptying before you can read them? Flip the lever to power the hoppers and lock them.
- Only one reel fires? Run the dust across the tops of all three droppers.
- Load every dropper with the same three symbols, or the odds won't be fair.
