Chain 4 traps into one corridor and score how often each one really works.
Four traps, one corridor, one tester. Will your traps fire every single time, or will the intruder walk free?
- New skill Linking traps into one course
- Level 6 · Inventor's Lab
- Difficulty Intermediate
- Mode Creative
- Time 45–60 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Chain four of your best traps into one long corridor with a finish line. Your tester runs the gauntlet again and again while you tick off every trap that fires. Work out which trap is the weakest link, fix it and prove the fix works.
Finish line: Your four-trap gauntlet has a reliability score for every trap, and the weakest one is now fixed.
Bonus challenge: Add one reset lever that puts every trap back to ready in a single flick. Time a full reset before and after.
You’ll need
- Your traps from earlier missions
- A tester
- A score sheet
You choose
- My gauntlet's name
- My 4 traps, in order
- The tester's prize for a clean run
Stuck?
- Give each trap its own trigger, so one failing doesn't stop the others.
- Testers must walk, not fly, or plates and tripwires won't fire.
- Change only one thing when fixing, so you know what made the difference.
For grown-ups
