What you’ll build
Run a fair test of three kinds of ice by racing a boat down matching straights and averaging the times. Crown the slipperiest ice, use it to build a rally loop with tight corners and a sneaky jump, then race a family member.
Finish line: You've found the fastest ice, built a rally track from it and raced a family member three laps.
Bonus challenge: Design the Corner of Doom: a turn so tight that nobody can take it without touching the wall. Can anyone in the family do it?

Stuck?
- Keep the test fair: same boat, same start, same full speed. Only the ice changes.
- Boat sliding off corners? Add low walls along the outside of every bend.
- Times all over the place? That's why you average three runs for each ice.
