Grow a small wheat farm next to your house.

What you’ll build
Become a farmer. You'll dig a water hole in the middle of your plot, turn the dirt around it into farmland with a hoe and plant seeds in every block. Watch them grow (or speed things up with bone meal), then harvest the golden wheat and replant.
Finish line: Your seeds are planted next to water, you've harvested some wheat, and you can explain what crops need.
Bonus challenge: Feed wheat to cows or sheep and see what happens. (Mission 14 is all about this!).

You choose

- Fence or no fence? A scarecrow?
Stuck?
- Crops need water within 4 blocks and plenty of light, so keep the farm close to the water hole.
- Don't jump on farmland. It turns back into dirt and pops out the seeds.
- Growing slowly at night? Add a few torches or lanterns around the edge.
