Build an ancient stadium, run three family events and crown a champion.
A herald sprints in: the Games start at sunrise and there's no stadium! Build it fast, then beat your family.
- New skill Timing races and building a jump pit
- Level 7 · Time Travellers
- Difficulty Intermediate
- Mode Creative
- Time 45–60 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Build an ancient-style stadium with a long sprint track, a long-jump pit and a javelin field with a target. Then run your own Games with family or friends, time and score every event and crown the champion with a wreath of leaves.
Finish line: Your stadium is built, three events are scored and a champion stands on the podium in a leafy wreath.
Bonus challenge: Add a boat race on a river or lake as event 4. Does the sprint champion win that too? Run it 3 times to find each racer's true best.
You’ll need
- A stopwatch
- Tridents
- Leaves
- Family or friends to compete
You choose
- My Games' name
- My 3 events (sprint, long jump, javelin or my own)
- My bet for the champion
Stuck?
- Missing the long jumps? Sprint first, then jump right at the edge. A sprint jump clears about 3–4 blocks.
- Need to throw the trident? Hold it, then press and release to throw it.
- Track drifting? Use Show Coordinates and keep one number the same all the way.
