What you’ll build
Build a tall clock tower by your forum with a round face and Roman numerals around the edge, plus hands you can move. Carve this year in numerals, crown the tower with a sundial and challenge someone to a fast time-setting duel.
Finish line: Your clock tower has Roman numerals, a carved cornerstone and a sundial, and the duel has a winner.
Bonus challenge: Build a secret door at the base that only opens if someone answers your numeral riddle (try XLII). Hide the lever behind a numeral.

Stuck?
- Numerals running into each other? Leave a 1-block gap between letters and use a contrasting colour.
- Mixed up IV and VI? A smaller numeral before a bigger one means take away: IV is 4, VI is 6.
- Face hard to read from the ground? Make it bigger, or light it with lanterns.
