What you’ll build
Dig a water moat round your castle and build a bridge across it that vanishes when you pull a lever. Hide sticky pistons to slide the bridge away, add an iron door on the same lever, then see if you can shut the gate before a raider reaches it.
Finish line: Your castle has a water moat, a bridge that vanishes at the flick of a lever and a gate tested by a raider.
Bonus challenge: Add a secret water tunnel under the moat that only you know about. Can anyone find the hidden way in?

Stuck?
- Bridge jamming? A sticky piston pulls back only the one block touching it, so give each moving block its own piston.
- Iron door won't open by hand? It only opens with redstone power, so wire it to the lever.
- Redstone dust needs a solid block under it. Hide the wiring under the floor of the gatehouse.
