What you’ll build

Build a grey moon scene with craters and footprints, then a lander with gold-wrapped base, four legs and a ladder. Add a bullseye landing pad and a mission control dome, then take turns dropping from high above to land closest to the centre.

Finish line: Your moon scene has a lander, a bullseye pad and a winner who takes the first moonwalk.

Bonus challenge: Build planet Earth hanging in the moon's sky as a giant blue, green and white disc. Can you get the continents roughly right?

You’ll need

  • Grey and white blocks
  • Gold blocks
  • Ladders
  • Coloured blocks for rings
  • Glass

You choose

  • My mission patch design
  • Number of craters
  • Who lands first

Stuck?

  • Can't stop flying? Double-tap jump to turn flying off, and you'll start to fall.
  • Falls are harmless in Creative, so drop without worrying.
  • Score fairly: agree the starting height first and check it with your Y coordinate.
