What you’ll build
Build a long timeline museum where every step is 50 years, from ancient Egypt to the future. Mark where the CE years begin, place an exhibit for every era at just the right spot and give a family member the tour from start to finish.
Finish line: Your timeline museum has every era in its place, and your family has walked all of history with you.
Bonus challenge: Add your own life to the hall at the same scale. How many blocks long is it? Now add your family back to your great-grandparents.

Stuck?
- Exhibit in the wrong place? Count blocks from the start: years since 3000 BCE ÷ 50.
- Crossing from BCE to CE? There's no year 0, so subtract 1 from the gap.
