What you’ll build
Hide a secret shortcut in your parkour course, like a passage behind a painting or a trapdoor in the floor, with just one tiny hint. Time both routes, measure how much shorter the secret is and see if a tester finds it.
Finish line: Your course hides a shortcut with one tiny clue, and you've proved how much time it saves.
Bonus challenge: Hide a second, even sneakier shortcut that only works if you know the first one. Who will find both?

Stuck?
- Painting the wrong size? A painting picks its size from the space, so frame the gap with blocks first.
- Use wooden trapdoors. Iron trapdoors need redstone and won't open with a tap.
- Players can walk straight through a painting, so make sure the passage behind it is clear.
