What you’ll build
Build a keyboard of tuned note blocks and a music box that plays a short three-note tune. Hook a lever lock up so only the tune's keys open the door, then challenge a tester to listen, match the notes and escape.
Finish line: Your singing door plays its tune, has eight tuned keys and opens only when the right levers are pulled.
Bonus challenge: Stretch the tune to 5 notes and let your tester hear the music box only twice. Mean? Yes. Fun? Absolutely.

- The instrument (block under the note blocks)
Stuck?
- Each tap on a note block raises it one step. Go past the top and it loops back to the lowest note.
- A note block needs an empty air block above it, or it won't make a sound.
- Notes all at once? Put a repeater between each note so they play one after another.
