Build a wall around your homestead with a gate, towers and a spider lip.
Zombies at the door. Spiders on the roof. Creepers in the garden. Tonight, the whole homestead gets a wall.

What you’ll build
Map your homestead, measure the perimeter and build a tall stone wall all the way round, with an overhanging lip to stop spiders. Add a gate and corner watchtowers, light the inside well, then climb up for a night watch.
Finish line: Your homestead is walled, with towers, a gate, a spider lip and a night-watch tally.
Bonus challenge: Dig a 2-deep moat outside the wall. Does it stop more mobs, or just trap them where you can see them?

- Stacks of cobblestone or stone
- Torches

Stuck?
- Spiders climb walls, but a row of blocks sticking out at the top stops them getting over.
- Mobs still appearing inside? Find the dark spot and light it.
- Use stone, not wood. Wooden walls can catch fire.
