What you’ll build
Build a potion lab and craft a brewing stand, then turn water bottles into awkward potions with nether wart. Add the right ingredient to brew Fire Resistance, Strength, Healing and Slow Falling, label every bottle and crown your favourite.
Finish line: Your lab is full of labelled potions of four types, with the best one crowned.
Bonus challenge: Add gunpowder to turn a potion into a splash potion. Throw a splash of Healing near your animals or a friend and watch it work.

- Nether wart
- Glass bottles
- Magma cream

- Lab style: secret cellar, wizard tower or Nether bunker
- My bet for the most useful potion
Stuck?
- Always add nether wart first. Adding magma cream or melon straight to water makes a useless mundane potion.
- The brewing stand needs blaze powder as fuel, not just as an ingredient.
- No phantom membrane? Skip Slow Falling for now and brew the other three.
