Day 50… or is it? Nights skipped in bed, days lost underground. Your tally wall might be lying.
- New skill Building a day clock tower
- Level 9 · Ultimate Survival
- Difficulty Advanced
- Mode Survival
- Time 30–40 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Turn detective and rebuild your Frontier timeline from your old logs, hunting down the days you slept through or spent underground. Craft a clock, build a Day Clock Tower with a corrected tally wall and predict the real-world date you'll reach Day 100.
Finish line: Your Day Clock Tower shows a framed clock, a corrected tally wall and your predicted Day 100 date.
Bonus challenge: Put a second clock at your mine entrance so you always know when night falls above. Then race the sunset home before the clock hits dusk.
You’ll need
- Your old Quest Logs
- 4 gold ingots
- Redstone
- An item frame
- A calculator
You choose
- My clock tower's name
- Tally style: notches, banners or lanterns?
- My guess at today's true day: Day
Stuck?
- Nights you slept through still count as days. So do days spent underground or in the Nether.
- A clock is 4 gold ingots around 1 redstone. Put it in an item frame to show the sun and moon.
- Not sure about a gap? Make your best estimate and note it. A careful guess beats a blank.
