What you’ll build
Head into the Nether with a family member or friend and look for a huge blackstone castle. Build a sealed spy perch at a safe distance, zoom in with your spyglass, count everyone who lives there and map every danger and escape route.
Finish line: Your spy perch is sealed and your bastion map shows every danger and who lives there.
Bonus challenge: Find a second bastion and compare them. Which one would you raid first, and what makes it the safer target?

Stuck?
- Piglin brutes carry golden axes and always attack, even if you wear gold. Stay hidden.
- Build your perch well away from the walls, so nothing spots you before you're ready.
- Never use a bed in the Nether. It explodes.
